Throw out bearing help

what is the best enging to get it out of?

ls1
ls2
ls3
ls7
ls9?

i know one year is a sold brass piece and anther year has foller pins?

just looking for the best

There are pros and cons to each. Some prefer the bronze bushing over the bearing while others like the bearing. Personally, I prefer the bearing providing it does not get ran low on grease.

well thank you for your input.

so is there a way to keep if form running low on grease? can i put extra grease in the hole?

I usually put just a dab of ultra high temp grease in there before installing the clutch. You can also use dry graphite in there as well.

dry graphite? call me a newb but wouldnt that defeat the purpose? you want it to stay lubed so why use dry stuff?

The pilot bearing is only going to hold so much grease, it won't hold extra it'll just throw it out.
The quality of the grease is the key.
