t-56 tear down
t-56 tear down well ive decied to tear down my tranny and fix the grinding 3-4 syncros it will be my first trans to ever battle with so wish me luck. before i do it my buddy just bought a 97 ws6 and think its fast. im going to wax that *** and then start the project. does any one know a good place that will just sell the 3-4 syncro rings. and maybe one or two bearings?
im almost doe rebuilding mine (just sat the housing on tonight) i got all my stuff from the gearbox.org. heres a link to show you some pictures of my tear-down. the ont thing i can tell you is to buy a set of lock ring removers!!!! they are the most handy thing in the world. get the ones from sear with the edge on 1 side to get into tight places

+1 for the lock ring removers. I had a set of snap ring pliers and after fighting for and hour with one ring i went to sear ans found the lock ring pliers and they are sent from god lol
