Pro 5.0 install question...
Pro 5.0 install question... Hey guys...I bought a used Pro 5.0 shifter and it didn't include the Pro 5.0 bolts that mount the shifter to the tranny. 
Will the stock bolts work or am I going to run into install problems? If so, can I order just the bolts on the Pro 5.0 website? Thanks for all info. in advance.

The Pro5.0 bolts are just a bit longer, maybe 3/8" longer, because the base is thicker than the stamped metal base on your factory shifter. You should be able to take the factory bolt to an auto parts or hardware store and get four slightly longer ones with the same metric thread.
Hey yes, they are slightly longer, and you should get ones that fit so that you have enough thread engagement. Btw, don't forget to loctite the bolts that attach the stop collar and also the shifter. They get loose otherwise. Ask me how I know. hehe. Good luck - it's a great shifter.
they are M8 bolts, around 30mm i think, just get something about 3/8" longer than stock, and you should be fine.

Thanks for the fast/helpful replies everyone!! I should have figured that stock bolts would be a little 'too easy'. 
It's all good though....now that I know exactly what to look for, I should be in and out of the parts store and back on the street. Thanks again.
