I can shift into all gears except third. When the car is off it goes in smooth and perfect yet when I drive it will not go. Slow speed..... high speed.... neutral doesn't matter wont go in. I have read the other posts and nothing seems to fit what I have. The slave is brand new...brand new clutch line....brand new 1 inch master. Still doesnt work.....brand new ls7 clutch and ls2 flywheel...still doesn't work. Please help.

Broken 3rd gear blocker ring on synchro.

Are you pretty sure and if so how much does that cost to have fixed?

Quite likely if it's blocked out the teeth of the gear and slider are ground down.
If the gear and the synchro are replaced, over $200 in parts plus labour / supplies.

Is there anymore tests I can do to make sure that is the problem because dropping the tranny isn't the funnest thing in the world.
