Fixed
With mine it was the master. Installed a new Zoom clutch and new slave but left the master. Everything was fine for a little while then I started having the disengagement issues in first and reverse. Reverse was notchy as hell and the pedal disengaged just an inch or so off the floor in those two gears.
Tried bleeding it a few times and didn't help really. Replaced the master and now everything is great. Reverse is MUCH more smooth going into gear and the disengagment issues were also fixed. Thankfully so far the stock MC replacment seems to be alright for the Zoom clutch but I'm not sure about other brands. Would love to have a Tick but 300+ bucks is a lot for a MC, but I hear it's worth it though depending on your set up.

I have heard that reverse requires the most pressure of any gear to go into gear...if that makes any sense at all. I also have the Spec Stage 2+ and it engages about an inch off the floor...I actually like that. I am also having to replace the MC as well.
I had all those problems with my spec 2,the high rpm shifting problem was fixed with a mcleod adjustable master cylinder.Like butter once that was put in at any rpm and the reverse problem was corrected with a new slave cylinder from the dealer.I have a spec 3+ now in my 408 stroker and love I it also,when we pulled out the 7 year old spec 2 clutch and flywheel they looked almost as good as new.
