White Lithium Grease???

White Lithium Grease??? On the installuniversity site it says to use white lithium grease on the input shaft of the transmission(clutch swap). Would this work better than axel grease?

yes.
It's a different base, and less chance to contaminate things, and bette heatand pressure tolerance - last thing you want is grease on the facings.. In a pinch, I'd use ball joint grease before using axle/bearing grease, but I'd get a tube of lithium!
