and the wrong end was torqued down first. and you would feel that right off the bat Not miles down he road.
But I'm guessin this tranny together was Not just rebuilt?
Might be problem with a shift fork. I have rebuilt 10 or so trannies and put steel 3-4 shift forks in most of them.
I have yet to see a bent one though.
I have how ever seen the secondary shift rod bent at one end.
That can cause all kinds of problems but usually in the 5-6 and reverse shift.
I guess the clutch is ok?
if so , you might need to get inside that tranny
Might be time for a rebuild.
