light weight flywheel ive seen a few vids of people getting lightweight flywheels to improve engine response and quicker revs on a few cars but never a muscle car....and my buddy works at a shop and has a light weight aluminum flywheel i can get for a decent price. now i dont know the exact weight but its definatly lighter than the stock one. so does anyone have any experience in the pros and cons of getting a new light weight flywheel for an LS1? driveability issues or anything? any info will help
This is a debated subject.
Many feel lower power cars need the additional mass to get the car moving out of the hole.
