Torque Specs Clutch/Flywheel

Default Torque Specs Clutch/Flywheel

Hey guys can anybody tell me what the torque specs are on the clutch and flywheels are on these LS1's?

Flywheel bolts = 74 lb ft
Pressure plate bolts = 52 lb ft

I would torque the bolts in stages. GM says for the flywheel to torque the bolts to 15 lb ft on the 1st pass then 37 on the 2nd pass followed by the full 74 lb ft.

No, however I strongly reccomend using new flywheel bolts every time

At the very least when re using flywheel bolts I add a 4th torque rating to be sure the old bolts do not break. However you can clearly see the bolt distortion to the edge of the bolt

Flywheel : 18ftlb - 36ftlb - 52ftlb - 74ftlb
