BIG PROBS with reverse Ok so i just got my car back from having the spec stage 3 put in and the car shimmys kinda hard when i start off in first but ive been told thats expected, now my problem is with reverse. It is extremely hard to put it in reverse, i actualy have to lean into it just to get it to go and when i go to pull it out it kinda pops out fast, the guy who did my clutch said its not that bad and it will get softer but i dont think so, he also said that there is a plate on the bottom of my shifter (B&M Ripper) that i can adjust? all help will great.
If it's *really hard* to push over towards reverse, then it sounds like the reverse lockout solenoid is not plugged in, or is not working. Maybe whoever installed the clutch forgot to connect it. That's the first thing to look for. If it is indeed plugged in, well, time for electrical troubleshooting...
The reverse lockout solenoid is loaded with a stiff spring. If it's unplugged, it will let you go in to reverse, but you REALLY have to push it. If it's plugged in and working, the solenoid actuates based on motion. If you're not moving, it pulls back the plunger, and it'll let you go in to reverse.

Where is this plug so i can see if its hooked up, and if its plugged in what should i do? Should i take it to a different tranny shop and have them fix it, and untill i do that is it bad to drive it?
