Problem with 2nd gear

Problem with 2nd gear I have a 2000 TA with 23,000 miles on it. My mods include Votech supercharger with no aftercooler running 6lb of boost with SLP longtube headers.
I have recently started having a problem with second gear and I cant figure out what it is. When I step on the gas for maximum acceleration and try to shift from 1 to 2nd gear it grinds and wont go in, but when I granny shift and hold the clutch in for a few seconds and then shift into second it goes in fine.
Is this a sign of my clutch failing or a transmission problem?
Should I order a new clutch and adjustable master cylinder? I was looking at a Cartech. Can anyone offer me some advice?

Get a new clutch
Also upgrade your Hydraulics.The Mcleod is not nessessary though
A new stock master will work fine with the drill mod
But I'm afraid the 1-2 synchro assembly is shot.
