Default Diff. between 98-00 and 01-02 master cyl?

Is there any difference between the two? I've heard that 01-02 have the updated/better master cyl.?

Is this true? I have a new master 01-02 version that i am planning to install in my 99 SS. But, if it's the same thing, I'll save the trouble for later.

Thanks!

Sid.

Back then there was a difference but they are all the same now. All are the updated version nowadays. All though I've heard of some problems from remans from parts stores. My advice would be to buy a gm factory or something aftermarket since they are new units. I've been running a RAM for the past 5yrs and its just now starting to make a lil bit of noise from the throw out bearing.

EDIT..........I read that wrong. For some reason I was thinking slave. I run a stocker from the parts house. Works fine for me.
