Default ls9 clutch ???

I know for a budget build the ls7 clutch is a good choice. But the ls9 in the zl1s makes 640 flwhp which would figure out to 550+rwhp. i curious to know why you never hear anything about the ls9 clutch..... I mean it could be my lack of knowlege on the subject but that why im posting this tread.

What he said.
LS9 crank uses a 9bolt flywheel vs our 6bolt unit. And the Dual disc setup requires a different slave cylinder.
Katech is currently working on a kit for 4th gens stay tuned.

Speed Inc sells a kit by Lingenfelter to use the twin disc ZR1 clutch, only problem is its expensive.

So what your saying is, its better off to go with a "dedicated" ls1 clutch?

Im sure it is a quality part, especially coming from the OE, but for 1500 +, there are plenty of cheaper options, including other twin disks.
