Default Clutch recommendation

I have the mods in my sig. With a 100 shot of nitrous it is 550 at the wheels. As unbelievable as it is this stock clutch will hold the power but not at the top of first. It spun a little about a month ago and It still held up at the track last week. But it is stinking so it is time. The car sees the track twice a year with maybe 6 passes each visit. I really baby the car other than that. I do want to keep the stock pedal feel but I need a little stronger of a clutch obviously. I am hearing bad stuff from Spec., and I am hearing chatter problems out of the RAM. I'm not doing any high rpm clutch dumps so I really don't abuse them without reserve. I hope some of out there can give me some advice. Thanks Oh I still have the 10bolt so that keeps me in check off the line. LOL

If you want stock like pedal feel, go for a twin. Mcleod rst twin in mine and the pedal is very soft, just like stock but with a more positive feel. Plus it will hold all the power with ease!

We sell thousands of kits for the F-body and have a less than 1% return rate. You can find positive and negative reviews for any product...and I am sure you realize this. If you are interested we have several options that would suit your needs nicely. And if you need a flywheel we offer both billet steel and billet aluminum. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to assist you. Thanks,

I'd rather give some suggestions than throw a sales pitch at you so if you're still looking give us a call or e-mail us a number to contact you at. We carry McLeod, Monster, SPEC and Textralia. While all these clutches perform exceptionally well, I'd like to offer you our suggestion depending on your setup. Yes I know you've posted it but let's talk about it if you wish.

Like mentioned above, its best to match the clutch with your driving style as well as power level. The Diamond Stage 2 is good for 600hp/tq and is almost as streetable as a stock clutch. The pedal is maybe 15-20% more stiff, and engagement is very smooth. Great for a daily driver that only sees the track a handful of times per year.
The Diamond Stage 3 is good for 700hp/tq, but it has a more rigid engagement, with the same pedal pressure as the Stage 2. It's designed more for dumping the clutch and racing. Though it's surprisingly streetable for what it is, I wouldn't recommend it unless you go to the track on a regular basis.
Diamond hasn't been marketed as widely as others, but that doesn't mean its not good
The Stage 2 complete kit w/ chromoly flywheel and slave is $759 shipped. The Stage 3 is $799 shipped. Both include a free remote bleeder kit.

I know this post is a couple months old but my buddy Atrain59 went with the TDP stage 3 and it's a great clutch, no chadder at all. From start to 500 miles. Engagement is a littel stiffer than I want but the stage two is going to be the one. I am very impressed with Jason and his products. All I can say is these clutches are bang up. Very, very, very impressed with this product and company. Crazy thing is my buddy who is just a budding mechanic did the research and picked Diamond. Damn good thing he did. We originally had decided on him getting the Diamond and Me getting the Spec 2+. Just so we could compare. But after seeing the product and driving the result. TDP All THE WAY.
