Default question about poly trans mount?

I replaced my clutch the other weekend and when taking the tranny out i noticed my tranny mount was shot. Called dealership and a stock replacement was $72.00!!! I have seen the poly mounts go for around 20-25 but i have heard they rattle and make mad noise. Just wondering what u guys that have the poly trans mount think of them. Thanks guys.

using the poly mounts on both cars.at first it will rattle or vibrate for a week or two.after that its okay.if you use the oem again you will tear it up again.just from my experience.

I had an Energy Suspension mount on my IROC, it never made a peep. I went through 3 rubber mounts before running the Energy for 2 years.

Go with the poly trans mount, in the few miles i have been able to drive mine with the new mount i don't notice any more noise or vibrations than with the stock mount.
