Shifter Cup Bushing

Ordered a bronze to replace my plastic shifter cup bushing and went to remove my old plastic bushing thinking it was going to be a pain to get out and it just popped right out with my fingers. So went to install my bronze bushing thinking it was going to be hard to get in and it just fell right in and I can easly remove it. Should it be like that?

Almost every t56 I've done, the plastic bushing falls right out.....but I've never had a bronze replacement not fit really snug. As long as there is no slop in it when it's seated, you could probably RTV it in place. If it has any lateral movement at all I would replace the cup on the shift rail.
