very hard to shift

Default very hard to shift
I just rebuilt my trans and put in a mgw shifter. Its very hard to shift now. Is it because the shifter or the beefed up trans?

if you did billet slider keys or bronze pads I think they usually make it a little harder to go into gear

Ok thanks. Yes I did. I think I need to get used to this shifter also. Seems like it points away from the driver just a tad...
