Default Another whine

When I press the pedal in (clutch disengaged) I get a whine noise. It seems
like it has been getting slowly worse over the past two weeks. Also the AC compressor started whining around the same time but I believe it's the pulley bearing. So it isn't a piolot bearing or throwout bearing because it's happening when the clutc isn't making contact. So Whatcha think?

If it is making noise when you push the clutch pedal in then the throwout bearing is making contact with the pressure plate. When you open the pressure plate the clutch disk slows down causing the pilot bearing to do more work as well. So the two parts you ruled out are actually doing more work when you have the clutch pedal pushed.
