Broken shift fork

Broken shift fork I picked up a t56 it shifts 1-4 no shifting problems but i picked it up from the last owner because 5 and 6 he had nothing . I pulled the back casing off and the 5-6 shift fork is broken in half , What upgrade can i get for both forks ? should i look for anything elese in there before putting it back together ? Thanks
There is no upgrade for the 5/6 shift fork unfortunately. A T56 shouldn't be shifted hard enough in 5th and 6th to damage the fork in the first place, but it happens sometimes. I would install a new steel 3/4 for and a new 5/6 fork and bronze pads on all the forks and billet slider keys in 3/4 at the very least.
Thanks For the help The 5/6 fork is really small and fairly weak. It's not common but not unusual. I've seen a few broken. I see more that are completely worn out on the tips where the plastic pads fall off.
Yea damaged fork pads will cause the trans to shift like trash. Put some bronze pads in there while you've got it apart and some billet keys. It will make it shift better and take some more abuse. Let me know if you need the pads and keys. I have them in stock.
