Any mods to improve the shift feel of a T56?
Any mods to improve the shift feel of a T56? I'm rebuilding a T56 and I'm wondering while I have it all disassembled if there and any upgrades I can do that improve the shift feel?

I had my t56 rebuilt last year to a t6060, with triple syncros, steel shift fork, etc at Rockland Standard Gear. Feels soo much better than before. I even kept the factory WS6 Hurst shifter, it was so nice now I didn't feel I needed a better shifter.

Depending on your set up you could easily get different feels on the fluid being used. Anything from an ATF DEX 3 (Mobil 1, Redline D4, Amsoil ATD) up to some of the lighter MTL's like Pennz or GM synchromeshes. Some love the Royal Purple Synchromax. Your builder/mentor should be able to help.
