Remove the preload plate and grind/cut down the two preload bumps flat.
I've been running the ES trans mounts that way for probably 10yrs, and I only replace the first one a couple of yrs ago because the metal in the urethane eventually stretched the urethane allowing it to rotate when you tighten up the bottom mount bolt.
