Why do the drill mod?

Lightbulb Why do the drill mod?

Everyone yes do the drill mod, do the drill mod. But does the drill mod physically make since, unless you are trying to soften up the pedal?

Everyone suggest it, so it must make since/work. But if you put physics to the test, it shoulld not make things better.

Think about it. Hydrolics deals with fluid right. Well like water and even the exhaust on your beast. The bigger the pipe the less pressure right (Don't use "sewer pipe" on F-bodies, you need some back pressure). If your washing your car getto style with no hose nozzle. You know with your thumb over the end of the hose . Wa-la you have just doubled or trippled the pressure your hose is putting out. No, you have not increased the flow of water and your punk a$$ city is not pushing out more water to your house because you just put your thumb on the end or your hose. The same amount of water is just forced out of a more constricted space .

My .02 tells me the the engineers at GM may have made a correct decision in this case by constricting the end on the Clutch master cyl. hose?????

OK my bad, The problem with the clutch hyds is that the restriction prevents the fluid from returning to the MC for the next press of the pedel, not the pressure the MC puts on the TOB

Its all about gettin the fluid from the Master to the slave and back with the least amount of resistance.

I think though you just figured that out.
Sometimes you just have to write down or say your thoughts out loud to see your thoughts are all confused LOL
