Stock M6 Capabilities?

Stock M6 Capabilities? Ok, ive been looking into getting a LS1 M6 WS6 but i havent found anything about the tranny's
what im asking is what kind of tranny is it for one and what can it hold stock.
also are any of the h,c,i cars having any issues with breaking trannys.
My plan is to pick up a t/a and do full bolt ons with cam and nitrous. Hoping to hit 525whp with nitrous.. but the issue is ive priced parts and whatnot but just dont know what the tranny will and will not hold and etc etc.
any light on the subject would be great.

Oh ok i thought it was a T56 but is it similar to the T56 in the 03-04 Cobra or what.. Cause i know those are good to go as long as you replace the input shaft..
And when you say launching hard how hard are we talking.. 1.7 60ft or 1.2 60ft..
