Default Split a flywheel in two.

I have.. errr had and ram twin disk clutch with their flyhweel. Couple days ago I was under power and all of a sudden it hits the rev limiter. Figured it was the clutch letting go. So I took it apart last night and the flywheel had seperated from the "hub" area or flange area were it bolts to the crank. A perfect circle around all the bolts. Maybe two thousand miles on it. Anyone have this problem??? Brand new gm flywheel bots torqued in a star patternt with a good torqu wrench. Launch maybe 8 times in its life. I was only at 11 pounds of boost so maybe 800whp sae so 650 real number.

I would give RAM a call. They will want to know about this and will likely be able to help you.

I'm with Spec-01, this could potentially be a serious issue.

This is why I would recommend a quicktime bellhousing you just never know. Could have potentially destroyed your car and hurt you also.
