Alright i read this... And i need to install my pro 5.0 with LSS
Can i use hi temp gasketing silicon
And is it hard to snap the old one out and the new in?

It's a breeze. Just take your time. You can use the silicon, but if you can, I highly recommend ordering gaskets from CobraBob (not sure if he's on this site or not, I just know him locally and from SVTP). They're less than $10 if I remember correctly and he ships quick. The silicon is messy and a pain to deal with if you do much clutch/transmission/shifter work in the future because you have to scrape it off everything every time.

Well i just got a new clutch and i dont do internal work (noobie bolt on crap for me! ) so not my problem. Looks like ill just use that silicon...
Will the car be driveable after shes installed or do i have to let it sit for a certain amount of time?

Don't know if 5.0 is different than the MGW, but could have pulled centering springs to loosen up the side to side. Assuming that's the difficulty of getting in reverse, mine is a PITA for that reason. But after a month I've gotten used to it. Now if only my wear pads weren't worn and I didn't have to keep applying pressure for it to stay in reverse
