so i bought an input shaft supposedly from an ls1 camaro to convert my t56 from lt1 to ls1 for my swap. I get the shaft and it looks nothing like the ls1 shaft, nor does it fit correctly. from what limited info I can find it appears to be a cts-v shaft. anyone have any inpu or know for sure so i know what to do with it if the seller won't take it back? this was throguh ebay and I have e-mails from him assuring me it was from an ls1 camaro. but it obviously isn't. any help?

 

Hard to tell exactly but it appears to be out of a C6 Vette trans but could be a GTO/C5 Vette as well. Its definately not going to work for you.

Whats the part number on the shaft?

 

Definitely a CTSv M12 input shaft
