Default flywheel

does any one know what the flywheel thickness is supose to be on a 98 camaro z28 im trying to figure out if i need to shim my flywheel

.810" is the thickness of a new stock flywheel. We suggest taking no more than .015" off when machining. Of course it sounds like your flywheel has already been cut and that you are trying to shim it accoridngly so the above measure should provide you with the info you need.
