clutches made simple? I'm ready to purchase clutch for my LS project. Started reasearching and got lost real quick. I'm doing 5.3 all alum out of 04 Trail Blazer into a Vega with a T5 from 97 Z 28.
all stock engine. I just need a nice solid set up that will handle a little street beating. Vega is light weight, so good stock should be fine. I'm Running Monza bellhousing with cable type set up for activation.
I see all this LS7 clutch, but different flywheel talk. I already have what i was told to be a F body Flywheel. whats the difference in Ls flywheels and how do I identify them?
Basically what i'm asking is.
can someone tell me where I can find all this info? What flywheel?, what plate?, what disc? will work with this 5.3/T5 combo?
I know about the Pilot bearing thing, but will need to know throw out bearing as well, since i'm staying old school with that.
