Default What to buy please help

Well im looking for a non puck style clutch. Im looking to see if the clutch can hold 550tq since im running nitrous. The LS7 will most likely not work or hold that type of torque or power long enough. Is there anything out there non puck style doesnt chatter for around 350-500 bucks?

Going with an 12" dual friction type disc with the right pressure plate might handle it but ideally a ceramic type disc is what you need. Unfortunately, they tend to chatter a little bit.

Definitely don't go cheap on a clutch. And the chatter just means it's time to pound on it after you have it broken in. The level 3 monster chatter isn't bad at all. Even my wife doesn't complain about it. Also SNL is very customer friendly and awesome to deal with

I have a centerforce whcich is very street friendly and holds up. I don't know how much power I'm putting down though. A good racing clutch is a HD Super Ram, but they are touchy when taking off. They are either on or off, if you know what I meen.

Take a look at the link below (specifically scroll down to the second set of parts) and you will see that we have several options that meet your needs. I am a fan of the 2+ for good drivability and great torque capacity on a budget (especially if you plan to race the car too). Let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to help you. Thanks,

You would be right on the cusp of the holding limits of our Level 2 and being that nitrous hits so hard at a low rpm I'd recommend a Level 3 just to be safe. A properly installed and driven Level 3 will not chatter, feel free to contact me with any questions. Chris, 817-750-2000
