Default Clutch question

I have a 2001 Trans am 6 speed. First manual car I have ever owned. I'm not a mechanic what so ever. But I know a few things about cars and trucks. This car is surprisingly fast for stock. When reaching high speeds or accelerating very fast. My clutch gets closer to the floor and gets tighter. Like I don't have to put hardly any pressure to be able to shift. I was wondering if that is a feature or is there something wrong with my clutch. I owned a manual 4x4 truck before and it never did that.

I just bought the car like a little over a month ago from a extremely small dealer outside of LA. He didn't know much about the car but it's in wonderful shape. To my knowledge the car is bone stock. So if something was added or replaced I wouldn't know.

So if anyone has a idea what it is can you please inform me.

that's weird, its usually the other way around, the clutch and fluid will get hot and act like its slipping, or does slip. I have LT, not sure about LS. GL with it.
