Ok I have a 91' GMC ext cab 2wd sierra pickup. tubbed, caged, 5.14 gears with 31x18x15 street tire and 33x17x15 good year slicks with a blown injected ls1. On base tune 9lbs it made 843Hp 749tq. I will be cranking it u to 16-20lbs of boost. I haven't got the truck weighed but i'm guessing in the 3,300lb range. I have been thinking that a glide with brake isn't the ideal tranny for this application?? The holley dominator ecu will control all functions of the 4l80e transmission so that is a plus that route. I was thinking more in the lines of a built 4l80E or biting the bullet and putting in either a bruno lenco or the lenco st1200 clutch. The truck will be a street strip but mostly strip. let me know what you all think. Also posted in the automatic transmission forum.
