Straight foward answer...
Your leg shouldn't be getting tried at a stop light though.
It is definatly not good to keep the clutch depressed for the duration of a stop light.
Not only is it uncomfortable to do, it's also not good for your throwout bearing, & hydraulics, you tend to build up heat this way.
The optimumn thing is to have the clutch depressed for a minimal amount of time, to prevent undue wear.
That being said, my Ram 402/980 has a heavier than stock feel. It isn't insane, but it is feels good. I enjoy a hard pedal because to me it makes me feel confident its gonna hold. Only 4 clutch dumps on this one thus far, but about 5k-10k street miles.
If you plan on doing boltons only, or cam.. possibly heads/cam, you won't have any problem with the 402/980 setup, and it doesn't chatter all that much either

Good Luck,
Josh

The clutch chatters on hills and such, but its not very bad at all IMO. Expect at least a little chatter though for the life of the clutch. You will learn to drive around it though, as its not that much.
