Default transmission options??

Im sure some of you are probably tired of hearing this question but I got to ask it. looking to do a carbed 6.0 swap in a 93 chevy pickup currently all stock (350 TBI with nv3500 5 speed). I have found a 6.0 but its from a 2000 silverado 2500HD. Im hearing a lot of issues with transmissions fitting this engine because of the crank. Based on my research it looks like...

--99/00 6.0's will only fit 4L80E,turbo 350, and turbo 400 transmissions

--4l60e,700r4 and t56 (both LT1 and Ls1) will not fit this engine without major modification by either changing crank or custom building a torque converter.

--my stock nv3500 5 speed currently in the truck will not bolt up and is not rated to last behind the power of a Gen III engine (only rated to 280 Ft/lbs of torque)

--2001+ 6.0 engines will bolt up to a 4l80, 4l60 and t56 with no problems. turbo 350, turbo 400, and 700r4's will work with a spacer plate.

---> Can anybody confirm or deny any of this information or add anything to it. Ive searched many forums and although some challenge some of this info the majority seem to agree with the above statements. any help is appreciated, trying to give this guy an answer on this engine asap but need to know my transmission options first. Thanks in advance

Not sure about the issues with the crank shaft but the NV3500 found in your truck is basically the same unit used all the way till now as far as I know. There are some minor differences in bearings and shift designs but over all its the same. I would use it if you plan on just driving it around and getting on it every now and then.
