When installing the slave cylinder with the transmission out, you will remove the stock bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and install the line in its place. Run the line wherever you want to. Some run it into the engine bay, I have mine run under the car, tucked with the fuel lines so gravity will help the bleed process. When you want to bleed it, you just BARELY crack the valve, enough to let the fluid out, and no air back in. Once the valve is open, you can just pump the pedal over and over, just keep watch on the fluid in the reservoir so it doesn't drop below the hole. Just make sure the valve isn't letting air back into the system. It might take a few tries to get the valve right.

so this is all done with the slave out of the transmission? And then when you're all done you just put the stock bleeder valve back in?

The transmission has to come out in order to install it, but the slave doesn't necessarily have to come OFF, but I assume you're installing a new one. The stock bleeder valve is basically just a long brass nut. You will just toss it out, because the speed bleeder line goes in its place.

Oh ok so the speed bleeder line will come out of the transmission when everything is all bolted back together right next to where the line comes in for the slave?

I say bleed it when the fluid starts to get dark. My fluid stays clear for a very long time, so I've only BLED it once when it was installed, but I have pulled out fluid in the reservoir and added some new clean fluid once. My buddy's GTO gets super dark within a month, so his is bled often.. If the fluid is staying clear for awhile, I wouldn't worry about bleeding it until it darkens.

Yes, it could still be done with another person, but the point of the speed bleeder is to do it solo. Crack the valve so it doesn't let air back in, and pump away.

Trust me. The valve has to be just barely cracked though.

He is right it is a check valve only allowing fluid and air to travel one way. To be 100% certain you arent sucking anything back in you can crack the bleeder valve and stick it down in a cup of fluid too.

hey guys, just had a question about this bleeder....i see how it's installed, but the hole that it's routed through, is that already there, or is there any cutting involved?

It's already there. No cutting required
