Stupid skip shift!!
I'm hoping to gain a bit more understanding of this insignificant little feature.
My Fbody was the first M6 car I'd ever owned, it had a skip shift eliminator from day 1, so it was never an issue. I've had my GTO for week now and I initially thought it had one too, but after driving it this past week (340 miles), I have found my self locked out of 2nd on three different occasions. I'm a little confused, because it has only done this three times in 340 miles, and I can't seem to make it happen intentionally. Does this sound like the way this system is supposed to work? I was always under the impression that it (skipshift) was like that nosy, next door, neighbor who is always in your business.
