Lightweight Crossmember Does anyone make a lightweight crossmember for transmissions? BMR makes a tube-and-plate design for non-T56, non-4L60 conversions ... but couldn't we drop like 5 - 10 lbs going to a tubular crossmember over the stock one?
I already have a tubular K-member, this seems like the next step.

BMR responded and said that they're working on a torque-arm detaching, yet stock-torque-arm-mount-location, just not-on-the-tailshaft-of-the-tranny ... mount for LS1 guys.
But I'd still like a tubular one -- four bolts on the chassis, one / two on the mount, and that's that. I already have a detatched torque arm (MAC), and i've scrapped that cat hangar.
A fair bounty on anyone who could make me one!
