Default New Tick master cyl

Got my master cyl installed, and i can get through the gears just fine. Reverse is hella hard to get through the gate. Is that a pedal adjustment, or a bleeding issue? This was not an issue with the stock master.

I'm having that issue with stock one, think its bleeding issue, I know if u put it into first first then reverse it doesn't do it nearly as much

How did you adjust the master? As long as it is adjusted correctly reverse should be not different than other gears, mine goes in just fine. Maybe try and bleed it a little more or adjust the master slightly out and try again.

I had the pedal rod very far out. I ran it in, then out until it would go in gear. Top 6 gears are fine, its going from between 5 and 6 through the gate , to the right that feels like triple the force needed to push it over

so let me get this straight if the shifter is centered in neutral and you try to push it all the way to the right to then push it up into reverse its hard to get it to go all the way over? If this is the case its not the master but more like you reverse lockout solenoid is going out or not working correctly

Is there a switch on the clutch pedal that interacts with the reverse lockout? It wasnt hard to get the shifter to the right before the master cyl install. I didnt mess with anything else.

the reverse lockout solenoid is on the drivers side of the transmission right next the where the shifter mounts and has a small 2 wire plug going into it. make sure you have the right solenoid as there is another one that looks similar to it midway up the transmission. Unbolt it and then slide the shifter over to try to get into reverse, if it goes in no problem then theres a problem with the solenoid....

just as a side not the solenoid is controlled by the pcm not the pedal. it will open to let you into the reverse gate with the key on and vehicle speed under 3mph.
