Default Intermittent clutch problems!

The cluch pedal feels perfectly normal however most of the time it will not fully disengage to change through gears. When I am stopped it will go into first or reverse with no problem but when I change gears while driving it doesnt disengage and once in a while the pedal stays about an inch from the floor. If i pull the pedal back up it feels normal again(sticks down maybe once every 20-30 times I use it) I try pumping it between shifts which sometimes helps but it may just be that "lucky" push because sometimes while I'm driving i will push it in and it works fine and changes gears. Also sometimes when I push the pedal down I can feel a sort of grinding vibration in the pedal. Clutch was working perfectly untill one time the pedal stayed at the floor when I shifted and has been like this since. Anyone have a similar problem or have any ideas? Any help would be great! BTW it is a 93 LT1, stock clutch.
