Default slave bad?

I put in a new ram clutch, new slave cylinder and a bleeder line, i bleed the clutch for about 2hr, and another hour the next day. Had no luck pedal still soft, pump it like 20 times it will get pressure and then goes soft again without opening the bleeder. I check the all the lines have no leaks. Did the JMP method and also with a Mityvac pump. Would the slave cylinder be a defected one?

Try an disconnecting the line from te master cylinder to the slave and bleeding it first.

Push the pedal down, then have someone cover the end of the line as you let off the pedal. Keep doing that until you get a steady flow, then plug it back into the slave fitting.

When I did my last clutch swap, I couldnt get any pressure until I did that.

I replace the seals in the master. When i disconnect the line from the slave i do get a firm pedal, only when i put it back in the slave is goes soft.

I suggest the use of a Mighty-Vac or Pressure-Bleeder to aid in relieving all the air from the system. Give it a shot and let us know if it helps. Thanks,

Agree with spec-01, manually bled until i had some pressure than wrapped it up with the mighty-vac. Took all about 20 minutes once I started getting some pressure.

Ok so I opened the bleeder pump the pedal to let all the fluid out. Close it back up, put new fluid and did it with the might-vac for like 20min then bleed it through the bleeder line for about 30 min n got some better pressure. It got late, so tomorrow I will continue bleeding it more and see what happeneds
