Default LT1 T56 and LS6 engine

Someone ran a light and hit my son in my LT1/T56 Camaro. I can purchase the car from the insurance company for salvage, and I know some have been able to mate the LT1/T56 to LS style engines. I have a ls6 engine and would like to use the LT1 tranny behind it. Can any one point me in the right direction.

As long as the transmission isn't a '93, you can buy a front adapter plate and input shaft for an LS t56 and it will bolt right up.

www.tickperformance.com or give us a call at 336-719-0599 if you want to order!

It requires disassembling the transmission. All in all it's pretty straightforward. Just swap out the front plate and input like mentioned. Not that difficult at all, just takes some time.
