Default Which upgraded transmission?
Hey everyone, I'm looking to replace my trans in the next few months but need help deciding which to go with. I think i'm set on a Tick built unit, but not sure which level to go with. Can someone with a built t56 tell me how they shift compared to the stock t56 (do they shift better than the notchy stock trans)? I'm leaning towards a tr6060 based trans for this reason.

A TR6060-base transmission/ Magnum is a torque-capacity upgrade AND a shift quality upgrade. win-win.

Most T56 upgrades include the carbon-particle blocker ring linings. A great durability upgrade .... but they get a "notchy" shift quality rating by most evaluators.

Pulled the trigger on a level 4 t56 magnum from tick. Anyone have any pointers for install; is it really as bolt in as they say? I'm assuming i'll need a new u joint for the larger yoke?

Nice choice man. I wish I had had the extra coin for the magnum when I bought my stage two. With the carbon rings it is more notchy than stock but I think it feels better than stock. Has a very precise feel to it now.
