Tough to Shift (Solved!)
Tough to Shift (Solved!) I replaced my clutch and replaced my t56's transmission fluid with what I drained before dropping the tranny. Immediately afterwards, it was tough as hell to shift into every gear. I was thinking about disengagement issues and such, however just thought about maybe a little transmission fluid loss during the swap. Sure enough, today I added only about 1/8 of a quart to it, just until it started leaking out of the fill hole, and it shifts smooth as always. This is just an FYI to anybody else that runs into a tough shifting problem: check fluid level!
mine was doing that hard shift into every gear.. it got to the point where i had to rpm shift it
.. then i parked it and did everything i could- bled it and did master. ended up droppin the trani and throw out was shot so i replaced everything inside there.. will be finishing it tonight ! cant wait to finally drive this thing after a month of garage time lol
