Clutch fork issue?
I pulled the slave at first not knowing the peddle popped loose and found the clutch fork has a lot of play in it, side to side, in and out, and can be pulled off the tbolt very easily with just finger strength. Today I plan on pulling the slave spacer & studs to have a look inside and hopefully just remove the fork, tighten the bolt & pivot, & pop it back on but can anyone tell me if this slop in the fork can be normal, and if the fork should have constant pressure on it keeping it flush with the bellhousing / taunt up against the slave piston/rod? My slave seems to be working properly, when I compress it all the way down with my palm using the rod it springs back up nicely.
Any advice? Hoping I just have a weird scenario and can pop the peddle back on, put the slave back on and go, or tighten the fork... Hoping I don't have something Fubar in there like a TO bearing or clutch.
