Default t56 major issues

My t56 will not go into gear smooth and some times not at all and i cant as of lately get it into reverse. i have gone threw 4 slave's and 3 masters and 2 throw out bearings. which works for a couple weeks then messes up again. There is a stock clutch in there currently. So i went out and bought another t56 and im having the same issues. I have done the drill mod and that does not help. Also when bolting the fly wheel and clutch together i impact it all on. Am i not supposed to do this? If anyone has any ideas please let me know thank you.

You would think the clutch would be the culprit considering you changed everything.

Installing the flywheel and pressure plate requires torquing sequences in cross pattern. You might have impacted the crap out of it. Removed clutch and check disk wear and do the proper sequencing.

I would say check the clutch also. It's the only thing left. Impacts are not always the best tool to crank down bolts.

Never use an impact gun .Tighten bolts down finger tight then use a torque wrench tighten them in a star pattern about a half turn at time on each bolt until torque value is reached.

Flywheel to crank
with tty gm bolts
First pass 15lb
Second pass 37lb
third pass 74 lb

Clutch to flywheel
Stock
52lb

The above has to be done as above to avoid:
warping
stripping
loosening

It is possible that the clutch is the root of your problems. It is also possible that it is self inflicted by using an impact wrench.

Did you change the tail shaft housing out with the trans as well? Just curious.

Make sure the torque specs are right on and then report back

Correct.. Learned that the hard way years ago. That's your problem, your clutch is probably bolted on twice as tight as its supposed to be.
