Clutch hydraulics issues
it went to the floor, and stayed there, and ended up using the starter to put the car back in the garage. It did this all at once....no pressure at the pedal and wouldn't return. I've crawled under the car, had someone push the clutch pedal, and I couldn't see any leaks. I'm really hoping it's not the slave cylinder, because it would just be a major pain in the butt. I didn't see any inspection plates or anywhere to see if there would be a leak at the slave cylinder.
The car sat for a bit, and and the pedal would get pressure slightly back, even enough to disengage the clutch. (I don't believe it's a clutch issue, because the pedal just went to the floor, and stayed there). The fluid is pretty bad, and needs to be changed. And suggestions would help on this, or even just a link to another thread.
Have any of you had a master go bad? I watched the drill mod video, and it seems like there is a valve in the line. I'm wondering if a combination of old fluid, and maybe an internal leak in the master might be my problem.
Thanks in advance, for any advice.
