Default problems fitting quicktime bellhousing to 6.0!!! help!

Anyone running the quicktime BH with a 6.0?

i have model : rm-8020
The problem i am running into is when i fit the trans up, the BH flange is wide enough at the top that it hits the bolts for the back cover. I had seen that some say the 6.0 BH flange is futher foward, meaning the back cover would stick out further past the flange? i had the same problem trying to fit the sfi plate behind the flywheel.the back cover sticks out further.

thanks in advance

Weird. I have the quicktime 8020 on my '99 6.0 block and it bolted right up no problem. Maybe try and find some lower profile bolts?

I also run the rm8020 with no issues. You will have to machine the back of the oil pan down a bit to get the ballistics plate to fit properly.

motor plate hits the back cover before it even touches the motor

I ran it without the "scatter shield", and be sure to remove the slave shim if u have any. I had to or the clutch wouldn't fully disengage. I also had to grind a lot out of the bottom edge at the top of the bellhousing because it hit the back cover and top few bolts. I also ground down the bolt heads and edge of the cover. I had that thing in and out a dozen times and that's the only way I got the clutch to disengage.
