Drivetrain Issues
I had my pilot bearing replaced 2 years ago due to it shattering. After replacement the car ran like a champ. Got an inspection last month and found the driveshaft carrier bearing was ripped an we could shake it around in a circle. I was saving money for a GForce 4 inch aluminum replacement when the car started acting like crap. Started to grind when putting it in second like the clutch wasn't disengaging all the way. It shouldn't be the pilot bearing again because I replaced it with a bronze replacement. I want to know what it could be before I spend the money on dropping the tranny and having it looked at. Pilot bearing again? Maybe syncros, slave or master clutch?
