First impression of Spec stage 3 Well I got my car back from the shop today. I have a liite bit of chatter in 1st gear and in reverse. When I accelerate quickly I have no chatter. When I take off easy that is when I get chatter. I'm hoping that after a couple hundred miles or so the chatter will go away, I think it will. I will be doing alot of driving tonight and tomorrow though because I'm going to the track on Thursday night to see what my new mods done for me. My engagement point of the clutch is lower now, closer to the floor. You guys with the same clutch is this what you guys experienced? TIA for guys responses.
Yeah thats about how mine was. The first 500 miles were tough, and the first 100 a real bear. My clutch engaged right off the floor at that time. As it broke in, the engagement point moved up. It chattered a bit during break in, not much after with 3.42 gears. Now it hardly ever chatters with my 4.10s, except sometimes in reverse. Feels just like the stocker now, but grabs like a ****.
