Default Spec SC 091 kit

I just got a Spec Stage 1 for my 2001 WS6 and there's a part in the kit that I have no idea what it is. Kit came with the normal stuff, pressure plate, clutch disc, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, align tool. But there was a flat steel plate about 1/8th" or a little less thick, 6 Inches round, 4 holes in a pattern then 1 large hole (1-1 1/2") in the middle.

Been a long day but what's the purpose of the flat plate. I didn't get a change to take a picture before I left the garage.

TIA

Looks like its a spacer for the slave cylinder. The Spec requires more throw to disengage. Good to know since I have to pull the trans to put it in since the clutch won't disengage.

For future reference there was nothing with the packaging to tell you what it was for.

We supply the shim and instructions relative to measuring during installation. Measuring is important due to the amount of variance you find relative to the depth of the release bearing and even the amount of machine work done on the original flywheel if you intend to use it.

After a call to your tech line we arrived at the conclusion instructions were missing in the empty zip lock bag. I went back thought the box and no sign of anything that resembled instructions.
