transmission problems Hi I have a 94 Camaro z28 with 383 Stroker lt1 and a t56 transmission. I recently was experiencing a nasty rattling noise in my bellhousing. I dropped the tranny to find out that piece of the bellhousing had broken off and feel inside the housing and was rubbing against the flywheel. I took the piece out and started to reassemble everything. Once I had everything put together and started the car it ran fine but the clutch pedal had a lot of vibration to it. I went through all the gears while stationary and had no problem. When I put it in first and started to ease of the clutch my back tires would bounce and it felt like if I would have came off the clutch something would just break. But when I put it into reverse the car moves fine. Can anybody shoot me some ideas of what might be the problem?
And another thing to add is that the bellhousing is only being held by three bolts since the piece that fell in was where one of the bolts goes. The other two thread holes broke off at some point while I had the car. I figured this would help with an answer.
